RESOURCES AT THE CENTER

Through the Center’s resources, we share our results, provide support to researchers, and offer tools for development actors. The Center supports research that addresses critical development issues, finds sustainable solutions, and builds knowledge. Sharing that knowledge is one important way that the Center and our grantees can have an impact—academically, in a business sense and community-wide. Our information and research information services provide the resources and tools our researchers need to conduct their work and achieve lasting results.

EUROPE AND BEYOND

Institutional collaboration has offered the Center a means by which it has been able to share and engage in research and work internationally. On the European level, we have institutional collaboration throughout parts of the continent including Czech Republic, France, Germany, Italy, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Switzerland, Sweden, Ukraine, and the United Kingdom. This peer interaction, within specialized academic disciplines, has enhanced our inter-institutional capacity and provides opportunity to create a communication network, something extremely critical, in much of the emerging fields the Center is engaged in. This establishment across institutions offers reassurance that our work is meaningful and important at the academic level while simultaneously providing an outlet for business venture. The Center primarily takes a grassroots approach to institutional collaboration, and have extended beyond Europe, with key networks in parts of Africa (Namibia, Nigeria, and South Africa), Asia (Cambodia, China, Indonesia, India, Laos, Russia, Thailand, and Vietnam), North America (Canada, Mexico, and the United States), South America (Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay), and the Oceania (Australia, the Cook Islands and New Zealand). Our alliance of talent is taking an active role in shaping novel and future ideas in sustainability and relating interdisciplinary research.
